I think it was originally an old metal cake tin

making them excellent examples of mid‑century natural history illustration

it measures 20cm high and has tiny mercury glass baubles

but the base is made from light weight wood i think in a lovely bobble design

with the front of each drawer having a different (genuine) vintage wallpaper design and co-ordinating vintage plastic handle
