Acorn Pot #3 Chandler McLellan Material: WoolAcorn shaped pot vase thrown thrown on the wheel using a grogged grey stoneware clay. Turned when leather hard to exaggerate the acorns curves and rounded base. Signed on the base before firing once to 1000 degrees celsius. The piece is then waxed on the foot and dipped into a homemade glossy honey glaze. Decorated using iron oxide then once dry the piece is ready for its final 1230 degree firing.
