It is particularly good for those of Ngati Whatua or Taranaki descent and affiliation to Ngapuhi, due to the gold iwi colour in the feathers and the red iwi colour in the Taniko. This korowai, or kahu huruhuru to be exact, is made by a Maori lady of Ngati Porou descent. She
