Arisaema barnesii 2a In moist garden soilsThis hard to find species comes from the high mountains of Southern India near Kerala where it can be found at over 6000'. The leaf stalk of this small growing species and accompanying 5 9 leaflet leaf only reaches 1' tall. A. barnesii flowers in late May (NC) with an attractive green and white striped spathe, holding a small alien antennae like spadix.
