Waterloo Medal Miniature NPP Throughout the Second World WarProbably the single most important medal in British medallic history. This medal was awarded for the battle of Waterloo and Quatre Bras and Ligny. This was the first medal to be named to the recipient around the rim, awarded to all ranks, awarded to next of kin of those killed and issued very shortly after the battle itself.
