220 Grit Water Stone Finishing By working with the lawsIf you have a chip in one of your blades then this is the place to start getting your edge back! The 220 grit stone is coarse and will remove a lot of steel fast, leaving behind a consistent scratch pattern. Choose the large or the small to complete your water stone collection. The coarse stones are softer than the harder stones and so remember that they are easier to wear down. Be sure to check them before and during use to ensure that they are flat.
