This female selection of the dioecious Japanese laurel makes a 6' tall (10 years) evergreen shrub, clothed in green leaves which are heavily spotted yellow, giving a golden appearance from a distance. Assuming a successful liaison with a willing male, bright red fruits follow the flowers in fall winter.
