Cypripedium Frosch Harlequin Baptisia This 2006 introduction from Tennessee'sCypripedium 'Frosch Harlequin' is an exceptional clonal selection of Cypripedium 'Hans Erni', a 2004 Werner Frosch introduction a cross of Cypripedium franchetii and Cypripedium calceolus. Cypripedium 'Frosch Harlequin' forms a compact, sturdy 14" tall specimen, topped in early May (NC) with large burgundy and white pouches backed by similar colored sepals. The pouch color is white in warm climates, but has a yellow overtone in cooler conditions. All
