Amarygia parkeri Rosea Botrypus each edged in a chartreuse(aka: Brunsdonna parkeri) xAmarygia parkeri 'Rosea' is a little known hybrid between two winter growing South African geophytes, Amaryllis belladonna x Brunsvigia josephinae. This odd bi generic cross was first made by British botanist, William Herbert in the mid 1800s. The plants made their way to Australia, where they were further hybridized, and the group of hybrids were named after Lady Parker, wife of 1850's New South Wales Governor, Sir Henry
