The barrels used in the solera aging process previously held American whiskeys, sherries, wines and Cognac and lend a uniqe, rich and lush flavor to this exquisite rum. The rum comes in a beautiful glass decanter with an impression of a woven band around the middle, which is in reference to the original hand woven palm leaf petate bottle
