Cycas panzhioluta Beesia It has endured a winter
Yard notes & kiln story
Description
It has endured a winter low of -1 degree F (-18C) in 1996
selected by Yucca Do Nursery because of its blue-grey leaves on a species whose foliage can range from light green to grey
The showy lady slipper is one of the most abundant Northeast US native orchid species
simply cut them to the ground and they will quickly re-sprout
that I'd grow it as a house plant if it wasn't winter hardy
Cycas panzhioluta Beesia It has endured a winterCycas x panzhioluta is a rarely available hybrid of two winter hardy cycads, Cycas revoluta x Cycas panzhihuaensis. Our plant has been in the ground since 2014, forming a stunning 4' tall x 7' wide specimen with 6' long dark green fronds. In our trials, Cycas x panzhioluta has proven faster growing and more winter hardy than either parent species. Our offering of this superb hybrid is from a cross made by cycad expert Garrie Landry.
