Sarracenia chelsonii Marooned Amarcrinum the late Thad Howard ofSarracenia x chelsonii 'Marooned' was selected from a batch of seedlings of a cross of Sarracenia purpurea x Sarracenia rubra. Sarracenia 'Marooned' resembles Sarracenia x catesbyi with upright pitchers that resemble Sarracenia purpurea. Sarracenia x chelsonii 'Marooned' forms a 1' tall x 1' wide clump with large, bright red pitchers.
