19th Century French Provencal Carved Flour Box turquoise glass vase It is signed and datedA beautiful 19th century flour box hand carved in the traditional French Provencal style (called a Farinire in France) It has a beautiful design resembling the Fleur De Lis, which is a stylised lily or iris and was soften used in heraldry in France. It may also originally have had a lid. It also has a hole at the top so that it can be hung on the kitchen wall. A beautiful rustic and elegant piece that will add antique charm to your kitchen.
