Calanthe Kojima Violet Texas native plants and continuing until a hardCalanthe 'Kojima Violet' is a lovely seed strain of the hybrids of Calanthe aristulifera, C. discolor, C. sieboldii, and C. tricarinata. The semi evergreen large flat ground hugging foliage gives rise in early to mid April (NC) to 10" tall stalks, adorned with creamy white and lavender to violet flowers. Average to slightly moist woodland soils are best.
