Canna 'Pink Sunburst' is our 1996 introduction that we named and introduced from the folks at Sunburst Flower Bulbs in South Africa
comes via PDN-grown seed from an original plant collected from a logged-over floodplain near the northern end of its range in Edgefield County

His deer resistant hybrid (Panicum 'Heavy Metal' x Panicum 'Hans Herme') produces a 4' tall, upright specimen emerging with blue grey foliage that begins taking on a burgundy red hue as early as midsummer.
