Notocactus ottonis Colored Foliage well-branched clump is topped(aka: Parodia ottonis) Notocactus ottonis another of the wonderful southern South American ball cactus that have thrived in our trials. This one hails from southern Brazil, Uruguay, southern Paraguay, and northeastern Argentina, where it can be found in grasslands. This easy to grow species is quite precocious, flowering with a mass of yellow flowers when quite young, usually starting for us in early May. The green balls are solitary when young, but
