20052 - Top Well Prepared "Flying" 3.23 Inch Crotalocephalina gibbus Lower Devonian Trilobite Pterosaur claws with discrete apical carinaeImpressive specimen, prepared in an exceptional way. This trilobite has been prepared as free standing. This type of preparation requires meticulous work of tens of hours. Of course, some of the free standing sectors during the preparation process have been fractured and glued again, with slight restorations in the fracture zones. A preparation like this without small restorations is impossible. However, in this specimen the restoration is minimal.
