The distinctive ribbon combines light green and scarlet sections separated by a narrow white stripe
The Army Long Service and Good Conduct medal was instituted in 1830
awarded to personnel engaged in operations in Kosovo
at the same time the qualifying criteria was amended and applied to OR's as well (from 1st October 2016 for OR's)
featuring the King’s uncrowned portrait on the obverse
