Lobelia angulata Ferns and Allies It's been over a decade
Yard notes & kiln story
Description
It's been over a decade (2011)
large pleated green foliage
as a sedative
it needs no supplemental moisture during summer droughts
We love scattering these 2' wide clumpers throughout the woodland garden as a background for hostas and other bold textured woodland plants
Lobelia angulata Ferns and Allies It's been over a decade(aka: Pratia angulata) We have really enjoyed this wonderful semi evergreen groundcover lobelia from New Zealand in our garden for decades. The zig zag black stems are clothed with tiny round leaves forming a nice 1" tall, ground hugging mat. The patch is topped with small white flowers from late spring through early summer great for the rock garden and very tolerant of moist conditions in full to part sun, where it's tolerant of light foot traffic
