But its decidedly different than Van Brunt's standard Empire offering. It all started with a little leftovers in a bottling tank at the end of the work day. They had about 8 cases left in the tank. When they came in the next day, they needed to proof it up a little to make it the correct proof. This is when the accident happened. They grabbed some overproof whiskey from the
