Dating from the 1930s and originating from Normandy in France, this is a wonderful practical piece for a bedroom or living room to add French antique charm. The oak is in rustic condition at the base and there are parts of the canvas straps that are fraying but overall it is in wonderful condition for its age. Once an item is placed on it, it is sturdy.
