These brakes typically use some sort of flapper to close which causes extreme exhaust back pressure to aide in braking
but all that new air still gets backed up in the restrictive intake manifold
The smaller nozzle will help with towing maximum weight and keeping EGT’s down while the 30% nozzle will be better for more top end power
