Lycoris elsiae Candlelight Monarda who selected it for itsLycoris x elsiae 'Candlelight' is a 2026 Plant Delights JLBG introduction of a pass along clone of Lycoris x elsiae, that we picked up from gardener Bernice Chaplain of coastal NC. This vigorous clone produces an abundance of 21" tall light cinnamon stalks starting for us in early September. Each stalk is topped with a cluster of six frilly, light yellow flowers, highlighted with light pink flushed stamens.
