The short rhizomes of Epimedium 'Cherry Tart' form a slowly expanding clump, topped, starting for us in late March with 1' tall deer resistant foliage that emerges with an attractive burgundy flush. About the same time the flower spikes top the foliage with mauvy pink flowers, each highlighted with an inner red spur
