French Vintage Wire Egg Basket mezzotint prints 31cm high x 33cm wide

It also has a gorgeous thick gilt decorative frame with a few chips here and there but otherwise in excellent condition

It is an oil painted on board with slightly fraying edges and signed

however she was known to have been close to the British poet Martin Bell (1918 – 1978)

French Vintage Wire Egg Basket mezzotint prints 31cm high x 33cm wideA lovely rustic French wire egg basket, with dounle handles dating from the mid 1900s. It has little feet and is handcrafted and so is slightly lopsided when standing. It can also be hung. It opens both sides and given its age, it can get a little stuck at times but does still open effectively. Gorgeous for a country kitchen or add a little French farmhouse chic to your contemporary kitchen. It can be used for vegetables too and would even look lovely
