the small jar-shaped bronzy flowers are found scattered below the foliage
highlighted by a dramatic central purple pattern down the center
Agave ovatispina Blue Arrows Pennisetum bright red flowers from SeptemberAgave x ovatispina 'Blue Arrows' is a 2024 Plant Delights JLBG introduction of our first named clone from a 2016 Mike Papay cross of Agave ovatifolia x flexispina. This amazingly fast growing specimen formed a 3' tall x 4' wide, silvery blue specimen in five years. This sparse offsetter has medium width blue leaves, edged with solid rows of bright red teeth.
