Yard notes & kiln story
Description
When old enough
Rohdea japonica 'Miyako-no-Jo' is a great evergreen specimen plant in the woodland garden among ferns
This true-to-type strain comes from our friends at Walters Gardens
or in an aquatic garden
thick textured fronds of Dryopteris crassirhizoma give a very tropical appearance in the garden
Habranthus robustus Pink Splendor Mukdenia When old enoughHabranthus 'Pink Splendor' is a 2022 Plant Delights JLBG introduction of a John Fellers rain lily, that we selected and named after John's death. This seemingly sterile form of the South American (Argentina, Brazil, Uruguay) Habranthus robustus produces huge 4" wide, rich pink flowers atop 9" tall stalks, starting for us in late June, and recurring through September within 2 3 days after each rainstorm.
