The China Medal 1900 was instituted in 1901 to recognise British and Imperial military personnel who served during the Boxer Rebellion and the subsequent China Expedition of 1900

Please note that the bottle is not included

as the Royal Navy transitioned from the Victorian era towards the Dreadnought age

This medal may not be worn by UK personnel

The qualifying period for the medal is 12 years, with clasps awarded for further periods of service. From 1st April 1999 onwards, additional clasps are awarded for every 6 years of
