this was common practice in the Georgian Era to bring out the brightness in stones
the drops are approximately 70 points each from a small rose-cut diamond top set in an upside-down triangular fitting
The domed lapis is set within a silver rim to give it definition
it has been tested and confirmed as 15ct gold
