Sitting Maize God Purses Hand beaten bowls have aThis intricately carved figure depicts a version of a sitting maize god. He is shown with a large corn headdress and large round earrings. These Mexican ceramics are handmade in the traditional 'barro' style and are fired in a small kiln before being carefully hand painted. All our barro ceramics are made by a small family run pottery workshop in Texcoco. Colours may vary
